Beltline
The Southwest Trail sits between South Atlanta and the Westside where you’ll find historic homes and Lee+White featuring a food hall and collection of breweries. The trail connects to the Southside Trail with Pittsburgh Yards, a co-working space, the African Diaspora Art Museum of Atlanta and The Beacon, a shopping, dining and entertainment district. The Southside Trail eventually will connect to the Southeast Trail near Grant Park and Zoo Atlanta.
Transportation
The MARTA red and gold lines go through South Atlanta, ending at the airport, which makes it convenient to take the train to and from the area to various events, bars and restaurants.
The East Point station is the third MARTA station with a soccer field for Soccer in the Streets. The StationSoccer initiative works to make soccer more accessible for underserved youth.
Hop off the train at the West End station to get to The B Complex, which offers affordable work and exhibition spaces for artists to rent.
