Memorial HOPE 5K Run

H.O.P.E., Inc.'s annual Neon Deon 5K Run honors a great man in our community and supports single parents working to earn a college degree. H.O.P.E., Inc. is a 12-year-old nonprofit that helps single parents in the metro Atlanta area complete their college degrees by eliminating barriers to completing their education. We provide rent and childcare assistance, counseling services, and financial literacy training. While we do not exclusively serve Black students, approximately 95% of our participants in the program have been people of color – so we are also helping to address racial disparities in higher education attainment, while pulling many families out of generational poverty.
