On January 29, 2022, the legendary dance-theater company BTJAZC will bring its new work “What Problem?” to Atlanta and The Ferst Center for the Arts. Company founder, choreographer and dancer Bill T. Jones conceived of this highly personal piece — adapted from his massive 2021 work, “Deep Blue Sea” — in pursuit of the elusive “we.” “What Problem?” includes a cast of local community members along with the company dancers, a deconstructed text from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, and themes from Herman Melville’s “Moby Dick”.
