Join us for the annual observance of Black History Month. This year’s theme is the Celebration of “Black Resistance”.

This is an educational experience and celebration of the achievements of Atlanta’s African Americans.

The event features “Coffee Talk”, a discussion with the African-Americans who lived through and marched against segregation and its lasting and profound impact on them and our community. This event's keynote speaker is veteran filmmaker Dan Moore Sr., the founder of the APEX Museum, who was inspired by the life of Dr. Benjamin Mays. The APEX Museum, founded in 1978, is Atlanta's oldest black history museum.
