The Metropolitan Atlanta Community Band (MACB) celebrates its 25th anniversary with a free concert Sunday, May 7, 2023, 5:00 pm, at Southwest Arts Center, 915 New Hope Road, in South Fulton.
The event, emceed by FOX 5 news reporter Aungelique Proctor, will honor MACB founder and icon of Atlanta music education Dr. Alfred D. Wyatt, Sr. Retired Army band commander and MACB clarinetist Dr. Dyann Ryans will guest conduct. The 60-piece band will play a variety of music, including marches, classical, jazz, and spirituals.
Attendees can enjoy light refreshments and meet the musicians after the concert.
