Little Amal, a 12-ft puppet symbolizing a Syrian refugee, arrives in Atlanta on her global journey. Join the Michael C. Carlos Museum, Emory Libraries, and Comedy & Conversations for an event featuring hosts David Perdue and Munir Meghjani, comedians Angel Contreras and Gilbert Lawand, Alpa Amin from GAIN, and artist Arturo Lindsay. They'll explore "Comedy and Conversations: Do we belong here?" to amplify Little Amal's message of hope.

Before the event, the exhibition 'You Belong Here: Place, People, and Purpose in Latinx Photography' will be open from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
