_Hack_HBCU is a thrilling one-day competition that challenges students and recent graduates of Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) to come together and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. Participants will be tasked with creating something from scratch, such as a web 2.0, web 3.0, or mobile app, and presenting their ideas to a panel of judges.

_Hack_HBCU is an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to work on challenges that are specific to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The challenges that participants will work on are focused on creating innovative solutions that enhance the HBCU experience and promote sustainability, diversity, and inclusion on campus. Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with other students, learn from mentors and industry professionals, and use their technical skills to make a positive impact on their communities. By working on these challenges, participants will gain valuable experience and skills that will help them succeed in their future careers.

_Hack_HBCU welcomes both individuals with advanced coding experience and those with little to no coding experience. Teams can consist of up to four members, and registration is open to students and recent graduates from any degree program at HBCUs. However, to ensure a diverse and well-rounded team, each group must have at least two members enrolled in a computer science, computer engineering, or a related major.
