As part of the Celebration Week for Georgia Arbor Day and the tribute to late Congressman John Lewis with plantings along Freedom Parkway (February 19-21), join the virtual conversation with Calinda Lee, from The National Center for Civil and Human Rights and Willette Jackson who is the lead coordinator of the Flowering Forest Tree Tribute to John Lewis. Ms. Lee and Ms. Jackson will discuss the inspiration and purpose behind the new plantings in Freedom Parkway in memory of John Lewis and share insight and history of the late civil rights leader.

"Flowering Forest – a Tree Tribute to Civil Rights Leader John Lewis" takes place February 19-21 and will consist of 300 blooming trees planted along Freedom Parkway for a beautiful tree tribute to Congressman John Lewis. Learn more at
