This year Kuumba presents a virtual storytelling event honoring the legacy of our mothers and fathers called, Kings and Queens - The wind beneath our wings, Sunday, June 11,2023 from 3PM to 5 PM EST. Tickets are $15.00. Featured Tellers include Esther Culver, Vanora Legeaux, Barry Stewart Mann, and Kory May!
Highlights include prerecorded stories from Ernestine Brown (Founder of Kuumba Mama Tales) and one of our ancestors as well as founding legacy members, Akbar Imhotep. Kuumba's Youth, The Tattle Tales will perform and there's also a special presentation by National Association of Black Storytellers Co-Founder, Mama Linda Goss!
