Atlanta quilter Zachary Francois is inspired by the work of Black artists from many different cultures and time periods. In this workshop, Zachary will lead children on an exploration of geometric shapes and patterns found in Kuba textiles and other works of art the African Galleries and then, in the studio, teach them to make their own work, thinking about color and pattern and using fabric and sewing techniques.

Fee: $20 for Carlos Museum members; $30 for nonmembers. Registration is required.
