Recorder virtuoso and Sephardic music specialist Daphna Mor, Renaissance performance practice expert Sarah Mead, and Lauda Musicam Director Jody Miller lead this one-day workshop in historical and cultural music. Among the session offerings are Sephardic music, monody of Western Europe and the Middle East, Renaissance modes and rhythms, the Spanish music manuscript Cancionero de Palacio, and rounds and canons from the Medival through Baroque periods. Sessions are for singers, playing musicians, and non-musicians alike.
