Moved to Words: The Intersection
of Music & Poetry

Poetry is art created in word form. For many, this self expression is rhythmic and melodic easily transitioning to expression in musical form. In fact, many of our most renowned musical artists began their careers as poets. We are going to take a dive into some notable poets turned artists, examine their unique works & then use their musical compositions as the backdrop for our own poetic writing.
