Make a Polish Pajaki Chandelier! Craft Workshop for Ages 9 – 13

5:00 pm – 7:30pm | Friday, September 16, 2022
St. James UMC, 4400 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Atlanta GA. 30342
$40/person includes all art materials plus pizza and an ice cream bar!

Pajaki are traditional Polish straw and paper chandeliers and can be hung in a bedroom (or even a dorm room!).

The literal translation of Pajaki is “spiders”. The chandeliers are supposed to look like delicate spider webs, with paper flowers symbolizing trapped flies. Old Slavic beliefs hold spiders and their webs in great respect, welcoming them into home.

They are beautiful and fun to make!
