Advocates will be peacefuly assembling to express their opposition to more government wild horse roundups on top of the 50,000 wild equines already being stockpiled in holding facilities. To add more fuel to the fire, 144 wild horses succumbed to disease recently at the Bureau of Land Management’s Wild Horse Holding Facility in Canon City, Colorado, strengthening the narrative of advocates that this bureau is not capable of safely and humanely handling these wild equines while majority of americans would rather they remain free on their designated land.
