Pine Lake LakeFest

Pine LakeFest is two days of handmade art, live music, festival food and family-friendly fun on the shores of beautiful Pine Lake, Georgia. Now in its 21st year, this annual festival’s traditions include chalk art and sand sculpture contests at the beach with prizes and Floatzilla!–a wild and wacky water parade. There are musicians and bands in a variety of styles both days, as well as street performers, family games and kids’ crafts, a pet contest and parade. Admission and parking are free. Pine Lake is located just 12 miles east of Atlanta, between Decatur and Stone Mountain. Stay and play: the lake is surrounded by a park and wetlands with picnic spots and walking trails.
