Peach State Roller Derby, based in Cobb County, is hosting a double header bout at the Acworth Community Center on Sunday, September 22. The first game is at noon, featuring Peach State vs. Knoxville, and the second game, at 2pm, features high level players from across the country.
Roller derby is a nostalgic sport - many folks remember watching it on TV on Saturday mornings in the 60s and 70s and the hard hitting action makes it exciting for younger crowds. This is an outside the box outing for an entire family to enjoy!
