Calling all budding middle school journalists! One of the first steps in bringing a story to life is executing a compelling interview. This interactive workshop will explore the art and craft of conducting interviews that will provide the foundation for an engaging article, blog post, podcast or social content. Methods and techniques covered will include crafting interview questions that yield colorful stories and detail, conversational tactics, note-taking, and record-keeping and we’ll learn what to do when time is short. We’ll also talk about ethical conundrums that can arise.
