Join us for an evening with Andi Pettis, Director of Horticulture at Governors Island. Andi will share some of the strategies, practices, and lessons learned from her experience leading the ecological restoration of a 172-acre island in the heart of New York Harbor, and the ripple effect such projects can have on urban resilience, biodiversity, and community well-being. This talk promises to be both inspirational and informative for those working on restoration projects in Atlanta, or in the support of projects that can lead to healthier, more climate-resilient cities.
