On Saturday, November 16, Keeping Forests will host a symposium and screening of Family Tree. Directed by Jennifer MacArthur, Family Tree follows two Black families in North Carolina as they take on the challenge of building intergenerational wealth while raising healthy forests.

Following the screening, there will be a Q&A and panel discussion about joining the movement to conserve Southern woodlands for generations to come. Calandrella, MacArthur and the two families featured in the film will be among the panel of experts.
