Brewed in Florida, aged to perfection in LA, the genius of Tom Petty was at its very best with the Heartbreakers. One just doesn’t find a lead guitarist like Mike Campbell in a friend’s backroom or a keyboardist like Benmont Tench, the son of a Florida judge who had to fight to be a musician. But Tom Petty did and the Heartbreakers were every bit a 5 piece gang.
The Mad Hatters are seasoned Atlanta pro’s who’ve made it a mission to replicate the Heartbreakers “NEW” Rock and Roll sound and vibe... Band members include Vegas Dave Turner…Vocals/Guitar, Fred McNeal… Guitar/Vocals, Wayne Vokovich… Bass/Vocals, Todd Johnston…Drums/Vocals and Asher McKinney…Keys/Vocals.
