The Moth is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the art and craft of first person storytelling, with a Peabody-winning Radio Hour and monthly podcast that earns up to 100 million downloads annually.
This December, The Moth presents the Atlanta GrandSLAM, where winners from our StorySLAM series compete to determine The Atlanta GrandSLAM Story Champion.
The theme is "Blessings in Disguise." Listen as ten StorySLAM champs tell tales of unexpected fortune. The miracle in the morbid, the journey to the destination, or the door that opens when another shuts. Silver-linings and the best of a bad thing. When it rains it pours, but you know there’s a rainbow after the storm.
