Atlanta Chinese Dance Company presents an original production Together: Yingge and Hip Hop Unite on Saturday, October 2 at 7:30pm and Sunday, October 3 at 2:00pm at Gas South Theater (formerly Infinite Energy Theater).
Featuring an original cross-cultural collaboration between choreographers Kerry Lee (Chinese dance) and AJ Paug (hip hop), Together imagines a clash between ancient Chinese and modern-day American social justice heroes. Their journey of finding common ground celebrates the potential of what we can accomplish when we come together to defeat universal threats to humankind. Performances also feature a collection of folk and classical Chinese dances.
