Tree Tour: History on
Atlanta Beltline (Eastside)

In this new tree tour, we’ll talk about the different ways that the outdoors - and specifically this part of Atlanta's urban forest - makes us healthy. As we walk the BeltLine, we’ll cover the health benefits of the outdoors and public parks and green spaces, of a few plants and herbs, and even the Fountain of Youth! We’ll also talk about the wealth behind and generated by the Eastside Atlanta BeltLine, and who stands to benefit from its health effects. We’ll tie all of that in with Atlanta history, stretching back through the city’s founding and up through the present day.
