Welcome old farmer friends and meet new business owners at the Virginia Highlands Farmers Market (VHFM) on opening day! Strawberries will be waiting for you – strawberry shortcake, smoothies, salad toppers. Joseph E. Reed "The One Man Orchestra" will be performing unique violin arrangements to accompany your shopping and dining experiences. Our hosts, Farm Burger VaHi will have a special meal for dinner with locally produced meats and veggies – dine in-store or at tables in the market space. Educational Chef Anisa will demonstrate a recipe with seasonal market goods – stop by for cooking tips and a *free sample*!
