Storytelling has always been a way to share ideas, experiences, and connect with others. Join award-winning author and illustrator, Raúl the Third, as he shares his storytelling practice in his bilingual series, ¡Vamos! series, in which children are immersed in the vibrancy and joy of Mexican- American culture in a border town. During this workshop Raúl will lead teachers through activities that explore how storytelling can connect the past to the present and connect us with one another. Each participant will receive a copy of ¡Vamos! Let’s Cross the Bridge.

Fee: $20 for members, $25 for nonmembers. Space is limited, and registration is required.
