Kris Reinhard

Kris Reinhard is General Manager of Bold Catering and Design and Partner of Bold’s parent company, Fifth Group Restaurants, the esteemed Atlanta hospitality company behind South City Kitchen, Ecco, La Tavola Trattoria, The Original El Taco, Lure and Alma Cocina. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in hospitality, restaurant and institutional management with additional training from Les Roches School of Hotel Management in Bluche, Switzerland, Kris joined the Fifth Group team as a prep cook with the opening of South City Kitchen Midtown in 1993.

Under his leadership, Bold Catering & Design grew from a start-up in the prep kitchen of South City Kitchen Midtown, catering meals during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, to being named the best catering company of its kind in the United States 20 years later at the 2016 Catersource ACE Awards. He and his team are guided by their purpose to passionately move people and provide the opportunity to experience joy. Over his decades of delicious in Atlanta, he and the Bold team have helped execute 12,000 events including over 5,000 weddings. He is constantly working to make Atlanta a better place to work, live, gather and eat.

An active member of the hospitality community, he is a long-time board member of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau including time as chair the organization’s membership committee. He has also served as a board member of Virginia-Highland Civic Association, Virginia-Highland Business Association and he’s an active alumni of Pennsylvania State University, helping to mold the next generation of hospitality professionals. Fifth Group and Bold also work to support the hospitality industry as a whole. Fifth Group was the first restaurant group in Atlanta to earn the highest 5-star rating from the Giving Kitchen, an Atlanta based non-profit dedicated to providing financial assistance to hospitality workers, based on financial need and a defined set of criteria, through a crisis grants program.

Through his work, he also supports several organizations that help veterans and their children. Fifth Group and Bold are long time partners of the Atlanta Community Food Bank helping to provide millions of meals for those in Georgia who struggle with food insecurity. The Georgia Restaurant Association honored Fifth Group with the GRACE Awards for “Distinguished Service” in 2018 and as “Restaurateur of the Year” in 2007.

Originally from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, he currently resides in Dunwoody with his wife, Suzanne, and their three children. In his spare time, Reinhard enjoys instructing and competing in auto racing.
