MIDTOWN

High Museum of Art

The Southeast’s most prominent art museum, the High Museum of Art, is a gleaming, white architectural wonder designed by famed architects Richard Meier and Renzo Piano that is a work of art itself. Inside, discover more than 17,000 works of art, from classic to contemporary, including 19th- and 20th-century American and decorative art, European paintings, a growing collection of African art, modern and contemporary art, and photography. The High is also devoted to collecting works by Southern artists and features the work of Atlanta-based artists alongside works from famous artists around the globe.

Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA)

Located in the heart of the Midtown Arts District, Museum Of Design Atlanta (MODA) is the only museum in the Southeast dedicated solely to the study and celebration of design. Discover fascinating exhibits that examine how design affects our daily lives. Themes range from architecture and industrial to product packaging, fashion, motorcycles and coffee makers.

BUCKHEAD

Alan Avery Art Company

An icon of the art world in Atlanta, Alan Avery Art Company is the oldest sustained gallery in the city. It features emerging, mid-career and internationally established career artists and often showcases boundary-pushing work. Notable artists include Kara Walker, Roy Lichtenstein, Helen Frankenthaler, Robert Rauschenberg, Jim Dine, David Hockney, Donald Sultan and Chuck Close.

Pryor Fine Art

Representing a diverse group of 60 artists whose work spans schools of abstract and representational painting and sculpture, Pryor Fine Art showcases works in a range of expressive styles. The gallery has been in the ATL art scene for more than 25 years and is the place art-savvy Atlantans go for signature pieces for their own collections.

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA)

Dedicated to featuring the works of Georgia artists at various stages of their careers, The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) has grown its collection from 250 works by 110 Georgia artists to more than 1,300 works of art. Solo exhibitions focus exclusively on Georgia artists while group exhibitions often include national and international artists. Discover works from emerging and established Georgia artists like Fahamu Pecou, Kathy Yancey and more.

Jackson Fine Art

Showcasing contemporary fine art photography, Jackson Fine Art is held in high esteem by both photographers as a place to show their work and enthusiasts seeking that powerful, moving piece to add to their collections. With nearly a 30-year history supporting fine art photographers and collectors, Jackson Fine Art gives emerging and established collectors access to the best fine art photography of the 20th and 21st centuries.

DOWNTOWN

Atlanta Contemporary

Showcasing the work of emerging and established artists, Atlanta Contemporary pays particular attention to artists who haven’t had a significant exhibition in the Southeast. Exhibits include paintings, sculptures, photography and installations from more than 100 consequential artists from local, national and international art scenes.

CASTLEBERRY HILL

ZuCot Gallery

The largest Black-owned fine art gallery in the Southeast, the striking 3,500-square-foot ZuCot Gallery promotes original works of art by living Black artists from around the world. Rotating exhibits of local artists are showcased on the mezzanine level. The gallery also regularly showcases the latest in short film, video installation and cinematography. Featured artists include Atlanta native Charlotte Riley-Webb and Atlanta local Georgette Baker.

Besharat Museum Gallery

Four distinct galleries and event spaces showcase fine art photography, contemporary works, sculptures and abstract pieces at the appointment-only Besharat Museum Gallery.

Marcia Wood Gallery

From emerging artists to those internationally known, Marcia Wood Gallery represents artists who are making notable contributions in contemporary art. From painting to sculpture to video, installation, digital media and photography, the works represented are as diverse as the artists. Some pieces from the gallery are the first thing visitors see at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Peters Street Station

From Atlanta tattoo artist, Miya Bailey, who owns City of Ink, comes Peters Street Station, a labor of love and a gift to the ATL arts community in the form of a community art space for artists, ranging from muralists to photographers, where their work can shine, bringing a new vibe to the ATL art scene.

INMAN PARK

ABV Gallery

As an experiential marketing agency, design studio, artist management agency and contemporary art gallery, ABV connects the dots from consulting to brands. The vibrant gallery space showcases captivating exhibitions from ATL favorites like Greg Mike, founder, and Sam Parker, as well as pop-up experiences.

The Goat Farm Arts Center

A visual and performing arts center, home to more than 450 artists and performers, The Goat Farm Arts Center is housed in a former 19th century factory. The hip industrial spaces host experiential events from performance art by dance troupe gloATL to art exhibitions in a wide range of mediums.

Westside Cultural Arts Center

Seeking to stimulate social awareness through avant-garde exhibitions, performances and events, Westside Cultural Arts Center features a living gallery that offers a rotating collection of local, regional and internationally recognized artists in a modern, updated industrial space. A sleek bar, full-service catering kitchen and custom state-of-the-art sound and light system make it the perfect venue for your next event.

KAI LIN ART

On the cutting edge, KAI LIN ART showcases new, contemporary works from established and emerging artists every six to eight weeks, keeping a steady stream of visual sustenance for the soul flowing in.

Atlanta BeltLine Trails

Stroll, bike or walk along the historic 22-mile Atlanta BeltLine trails that circle Downtown and discover an open-air art gallery, with murals, photography and sculptures along the way.

DRUID HILLS

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center

Situated on 12 acres of sculptured lawns and formal gardens, the magnificent Tudor Revival home on the National Register of Historic Places-former home of Coca-Cola heir Charles Howard Candler-is now home to the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, a community arts conservatory and cultural center. In addition to arts education classes for children and adults, rotating exhibits are offered in the Callanwolde Gallery on the second floor of the mansion.
