• American Fanfare by James M. Stephenson - the concert band version of this spirited and energetic fanfare was commissioned and premiered in 2006 by The Air Force Band of Flight
• Chester by William Schuman ‑ a patriotic anthem from the American Revolution
• Elegy for a Young American by Ronald Lo Presti - written in 1964 and dedicated to the memory of President John F. Kennedy
• Instinctive Travels by Michael Markowski - a piece the composer describes as "incredibly infected by rhythm"
• Symphony for Band by Morton Gould ‑ commissioned by the U.S. Military Academy for its 150th anniversary celebration
