Musical Performances: Music of Latin America with Havana Son

Shows at 10:15 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. in the Children’s Garden Amphitheatre. The dynamic duo, Rene and Llilian of Havana Son, lead a whirlwind musical tour through Latin America. Their itinerary includes stops in Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, and Puerto Rico. Children will have the opportunity to sample each country’s unique rhythms and sounds. The whole family will be up and dancing along!

Activity Stations- Drop in between 10 a.m. and Noon

Musical Instruments – Try out various instruments made from plants from around the world.
Earth-Friendly Art – Admire the beauty of our world in more ways than one when you make your own Earth Suncatcher.
Seed Planting – plant some spring seeds to take home.
Scavenger Hunt for Recycled Art – Look for art pieces made by our volunteers and nestled in the Garden. Pick up a hunt sheet at the entrance to its location.
“Worm Wishes” – Gently explore worms up close, while also thinking about ways to take care of the Earth.
