Join the Hapeville Depot Museum on Saturday, October 28th from 5-9pm to celebrate a new art show by Yari J. Mena.
There will be free art, music and light refreshments.
Festivities will commence in partnership with Hapeville’s annual Day of the Dead Celebration at Jess Lucas Park.
About the Art and Artist:
Artist Yari J. Mena writes, "Nostalgic Varnishes is a visual memoir. Both new subjects and developed techniques collaborate to chronicle a familiar, and also idealized, story for many immigrant households: a tale of a family separated by time, distance, and cultural differences yet bound together by effort, love, and an unspoken duty to each other that transcends borders."
