Elliston Fine Art is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural, pop-up, visual art exhibit, Missing Thread: The Story of Ngoïe, on view until February 25, 2024. The exhibit will be Rwanda-based Willy Karekezi’s first United States solo exhibit and will showcase a wide array of paintings featuring women as the primary subjects. The artist, whose paintings have been placed with individual and institutional collectors in Africa and Europe, establishes a visual language that delves into the contours of femininity, and retraces familial and ancestral threads.
A panel discussion will take place on Saturday, February 17 starting at 7 p.m. featuring the artist Willy Karekezi, Nailah Reine Barn
