Opening & Panel

Explore the history of Lambda Legal’s work that paved the way for broader freedoms for LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV. The Opening Reception is hosted by Lambda Legal, the American LGBTQ+ Museum, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR), and the LGBTQ+ Institute at the NCCHR. The event will feature a panel discussion, moderated by Lambda Legal CEO Kevin Jennings, on the past, present and future of LGBTQ+ civil rights in the U.S. Panelists include: Hon. Jane Morrison, founding regional director of Lambda Legal’s Southern Regional Office; Vandy Beth Glenn, a former Lambda Legal client; and, Dani Alexander Burk, Southern Regional program coordinator and office manager.
