We all know that Atlanta changed hip-hop — and, by extension, American music — forever. But have you ever considered our city's international impact? For example, how has Atlanta influenced hip-hop in France?
MODA is partnering with Villa Albertine for a conversation with DJ Djel, a Marseille-based beatmaker and graffiti artist, to discuss just that!
DJ Djel will elaborate on the connections between the hip-hop cultures of Atlanta and Marseille, and he'll talk to attendants about the art project he's completing through his residency with Villa Albertine.
