To help CMoA celebrate it’s 5th anniversary and the reason behind our opening date, we welcome back Tom Dworschak, NASA Solar System Ambassador.
His fast-paced talk begins with the 1957 launch of Sputnik and the ensuing USA-USSR space race, which saw the Mercury and Gemini programs lay the groundwork for the Apollo moon landings (1969-1972). He’ll then jump to the present day to discuss NASA’s current plans to launch Artemis to return astronauts to the moon after a half-century hiatus as well as future plans to land on Mars.
