Throughout the Carlos Museum's collection there are figurative sculptures in a variety of stances and poses. Sitting, standing, reclining, and even interacting with an object. We know that some of these sculptures would have been created for a specific site or location. Join teaching artist Jeff Mather for some 3D thinking while exploring the figurative sculptures, as well as the museum's architectural space designed by Michael Graves. Then head to the studio to create a place-inspired collaborative sculpture using clay and plaster.
Designed for children ages 8-12.
Fee: $20 for Carlos Museum members; $30 for nonmembers. Space is limited and registration is required.
