AWARE Wildlife Center

The AWARE Wildlife Center rehabilitates injured and orphaned native Georgia wild animals and educates the public about peaceful coexistence with wildlife. AWARE accepts up to 2,000 injured and orphaned animals every year as patients and delivers hundreds of ambassador programs across Georgia. Most of the hands-on animal care at AWARE is done by volunteers. Our small animal care staff oversees up to 100 weekly volunteers as they carry out the cleaning, feeding, and medicating of up to 200 patients at a time.
