Each episode is told from the perspective of passionate fans, community leaders and local icons, capturing how soccer has brought together Atlanta’s diverse communities.
“Exactly 30 years after Atlanta hosted the Centennial Olympic Games, the city will once again take the international stage to host eight matches for FIFA World Cup 2026,” said Sheretha Bell, senior vice president, marketing and brand strategy, ACVB. “Our goal for ‘United We Roar’ was to illustrate why soccer is truly more than just a game for our city. It’s about pride, passion and the connections that unite our communities, especially as we prepare to welcome visitors from around the globe for the world’s premier sporting event.”
The series progresses through distinct chapters that reflect the past, present and future of Atlanta’s soccer story. Episode one explores the cultural transformation sparked by Atlanta United’s formation. Episode two focuses on the inclusive spirit that embraces all fans, showing that race, gender, class and identity are not barriers, but rather banners of pride in Atlanta’s soccer culture. The series concludes with a look to the future, spotlighting the generational pride that is shaping the game into a lasting legacy for Atlanta’s youth.
