Heather Kirksey
Vice President, Public Relations, Corporate Events and Membership
Local media, business and hospitality-related inquiries

Do you know where you were Oct. 30, 1995?

Heather does. She skipped school to watch her beloved Atlanta Braves celebrate a World Championship with a parade down Peachtree Street. (Don’t worry. Her parents knew.)

Heather’s passion for sports led to a career in sports broadcasting which relocated her to markets throughout the Southeast. After following Brett Favre many summers to ask if he was really retiring this time, getting bulldozed on the sidelines of high school and college football games and covering the second-to-last College World Series at Rosenblatt Stadium, Heather moved back to her hometown of Atlanta to start a new chapter of work in PR and communications.

These days, she and her husband Jason chase their twin daughters and keep their first born, a Cocker Spaniel named Dash, occupied with belly scratches and frequent games of fetch. They dream about checking their girls out of school early one day in the near future to attend another Braves championship celebration.

Lindsey Raimondi
Manager, Public Relations
Convention Trade media

After interning at ACVB in 2016, Lindsey took a swing in the sports world as a public relations trainee for the Atlanta Braves and then dove right into her first full-time role at Georgia Aquarium. After experiencing the different industries Atlanta has to offer, Lindsey couldn’t stay away and returned to ACVB in 2019.

In her free time, she loves eating her way through every taco Atlanta has to offer, drinking way too much coffee and hanging out with her husband, daughter and their two dogs.

Logan Doctson
Specialist, Public Relations
Domestic media

Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, Logan moved to Atlanta to experience all the perks that a big city has to offer. As Logan’s love for Atlanta continued to grow, she quickly realized a career in hospitality was the perfect fit for her.

In Logan’s free time, you can find her exploring Atlanta BeltLine with friends, trying new macaroni and cheese recipes and FaceTiming her family’s dog, a Chihuahua named Tucker Owen. (Yes, her dog has a double name.)

Samantha Joiner
Coordinator, Public Relations
International media

Growing up in a small town in southeast Georgia, Samantha always dreamt of moving to Atlanta and experiencing life in the city. She accomplished this goal following her college graduation and began a new chapter interning at Georgia World Congress Center Authority. Following her internship, she joined ACVB, strengthening her career in the hospitality industry.

During her free time, Samantha enjoys exploring the different neighborhoods in the city, trying new hobbies and cheering on her favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs.
