We hope to see you on Saturday, June 15 for this year’s Juneteenth celebration at Atlanta History Center. From 10am to 4pm, we’ll highlight the legacy of Juneteenth through on-campus events, culinary demonstrations, museum theater, exhibitions, including More than Brave: The Life of Henry Aaron and Barbecue Nation and more!

Plan your day with our full list of timed and ongoing activities—including special add-on events, such as our interactive tasting with James Beard Award-nominated food writer Nicole A. Taylor, and our Juneteenth Bird Walk. All indoor activities will close at 2pm, but the celebration continues at Swan Lawn until 4pm!

This program is part of Atlanta History Center’s celebration of the Civic Season, a nationwide initiative encouraging historically informed civic participating through a two-week activation between Juneteenth and July 4th.

Although this is a free public program, donations are greatly appreciated. Pre-registration is optional but highly recommended to expedite the check-in process.
