Reinhard to Serve as 2021 ACVB Chair

Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau’s (ACVB) board of directors names Kris Reinhard its chair in 2021. Reinhard is a partner in Fifth Group Restaurants and serves as general manager of Bold, Fifth Group’s Catering and Design Division.

“With nearly 30 years of experience in Atlanta’s restaurant industry, Kris’s extensive knowledge is a tremendous asset to our destination,” said William Pate, president and CEO, ACVB. “He has dedicated many years to our board, and his leadership will help drive our hospitality community’s continued recovery in the months to come.”

Reinhard started working in Atlanta’s hospitality community in 1993 and joined ACVB’s board in 2007. He has chaired ACVB’s membership committee since 2010 and began serving on the organization’s executive committee in 2012. Reinhard graduated with a degree in hospitality, restaurant and institutional management from Pennsylvania State University and actively mentors the next generation of hospitality professionals.

“I look forward to working with the exceptional ACVB team in 2021 as chair of the board of directors,” said Reinhard. “I am excited about our opportunity to learn, lead the way, emerge stronger and thrive again as one of America’s best destinations. Using our experience and historical successes, we will continue to work diligently to assure Atlanta’s leadership position in the hospitality and tourism market.”

ACVB’s chair is elected by the board of directors following a nomination by the organization’s executive committee.
