Join Kinnara, Atlanta's nationally acclaimed professional chamber choir, for "Across the Water", a celebration of English and American music. Throughout the program crosses boundaries of nation, time, and identity, revealing how traditions transform, altered by history and experience. Rather than presenting England and America as opposing worlds, the program listens for echoes between them, tracing sites of protest, grief, devotion, and communal joy. What emerges is a portrait of music as living language, shaped by those who carry it across generations and across the sea.
