Dance Congress

An immersive weekend celebrating Afro-Cuban movement, rhythm, culture, and tradition. Train in Afro-Cuban folklore, Orishas, Rumba and traditional rhythms with distinguished faculty. Includes live music, workshops, showcases, DJs and a Saturday night party at Academy Ballroom Atlanta, October 16-18, 2026. Organized by Ana Llorente, a Cuban-born choreographer, professional dancer and former world champion trained at Havana's National School of Arts, and Michelito Herrera, an accomplished Afro-Cuban dancer, percussionist and cultural educator who formerly served as musical director of Yoruba Andabo.
