Isaia Huron

By 13, Isaia Huron was already behind the drums, studying every groove he could find. He played for a megachurch congregation of over 4,000 people and performed as a Christian rapper while still in grade school. But even then, he wasn’t content with applause, he wanted control. A self-described “DIY artist to a fault,” he taught himself production on Ableton while on a cruise in 2018. No teachers or no cosigns, just stubborn ambition. His early releases, Libbie and Libbie 02, were experiments in identity: abstract sketches of a mind in motion. If the first was an open wound, the second was the scar tissue, more intentional, more defiant.
