Run For The Park Returns
to Summer Shade Festival

One of Grant Park's favorite summer traditions is back. The 24th annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K returns Saturday, August 22, 2026, kicking off Summer Shade Festival weekend with a morning race benefiting the Grant Park Conservancy. Open to runners, walkers, strollers and families, the certified Peachtree Road Race qualifier begins at 8 a.m., followed by a free Kids Tot Trot at 8:45 a.m. After the race, participants can cool off with a King of Pops, pick up a commemorative race T-shirt, enjoy a complimentary draft beer at Dakota Blue for guests 21 and older, then head into Summer Shade Festival at 10 a.m. featuring 140+ artists, live music, food, drinks and family activities.
