Join the Japan-America Society of Georgia for a fun, hands-on Japanese cultural experience for kids ages 6+!
Kids will learn about sumo, Japan’s traditional national sport, try basic sumo techniques and friendly mini matches with Black Dragon Beya Atlanta Sumo Club, and discover the traditions of sumo.
Then cool off with Nagashi Somen (flowing noodles)! Kids will catch noodles flowing down a bamboo flume with chopsticks and enjoy this fun Japanese summer tradition.
