Location is key to meeting success

Location is vital when selecting a host city for your meeting, since it has a huge impact on the meeting attendee experience.

Atlanta is one of the most accessible cities in the world and home to the world’s most traveled and most efficient airport. With more flights from more locations coming into Atlanta than any other airport in the world, Atlanta makes smart business sense. Unrivaled airlift and more transportation options make it easier for your target audiences to become attendees. Check into Atlanta and take your meeting to new heights.

Atlanta airport’s exciting development projects

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA) is currently undergoing a series of improvements to transform the customer experience at the world’s busiest airport. This $6 billion modernization project includes new protective canopies over the upper roadway terminal curbside pick-up and drop-off areas, an extension and increased efficiency of the ATL Plane Train system, parking deck replacements near both the North and South terminals, and developing a 4-star hotel and travel plaza – projects that will enhance the airport for decades to come.

America’s most accessible city

Here in Atlanta, the world’s most traveled airport is two hours from more than 80 percent of the country’s population and provides direct, non-stop access from more than 150 U.S. cities and 75 international destinations from six continents. Once you land in Atlanta, you’re less than 20 minutes from the heart of the city and everything Atlanta has to offer, with easy public transportation on MARTA or taxis, limos and shuttles.

World’s most efficient airport

Offering the most direct non-stop domestic flights

Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is the world’s busiest airport  and makes Atlanta the most accessible city in the US. Daily non-stop flights to and from every major city in the world make commuting to Atlanta a breeze.

Atlanta makes international travel a breeze

While ATL is perceived as a busy domestic airport, we have significant lift from international destinations on six continents. Our Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal houses 12 gates dedicated to international travel and makes for an even easier international passenger experience when flying in and out of Atlanta.

The hub of the Southeast

Atlanta has long been heralded as the Hub of the Southeast. As the region’s geographic center, not only is Atlanta easily accessible for flights, but also for drivers. This convenience makes us very appealing to the drive-in feeder markets. Atlanta is as close to Ohio as it is to Florida, and requires the same travel time from St. Louis as from Washington, D.C. Atlanta is better positioned geographically and demographically than competing regional markets. Atlanta is your top choice for accessibility, no matter how you choose to travel.
