The first-ever indoor farmers market to open in the city of Atlanta is here: Upper West Market.
Located in the Underwood Hills neighborhood on the Westside, this farmers market is open seven days a week, rain or shine. The space makes fresh and sustainable goods more accessible.
The 9,000-square-foot, open-air vendor area has 35 stalls that are filled by local producers. Some have secured permanent spots, while others rotate.
Walk around from booth to booth to see the range of products, finding everything from fresh honey, flowers, herbal tonics, seasonal produce, seafood, premium pet food and much more.
Notable local brands you may recognize are Bellwood Coffee, Xocolatl Chocolate, Tiendita El Ponce and Dips Kitchen.
Upper West Market founder, Ben Hautt, visited Pike Place Market in Seattle and knew he wanted to bring a similar concept to Atlanta. He wanted to provide a space for local farmers to sell their products without struggling to pay rent.
There is paid parking on-site, but the farmers subsidize it to keep the space affordable for them to sell their products.

Stop for a bite to eat at Summerland, a breakfast and lunch spot by Chef Anne Quatrano, of Bacchanalia and Star Provisions. The restaurant is focused on fresh ingredients, which you can pair with their cold-pressed juices.
The venue also has an on-site event space. Westhouse is a 6,000-square-foot space, plus an additional 1,600 square feet of pre-function space. The high ceilings and bright interior make this an ideal space to host an event, wedding or corporate function.
