We invite you to attend the 2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Lecture on Wednesday, January 15, at 12:15 p.m., in Tull Auditorium, Gambrell Hall. The theme for this event is “The Injustice of Poverty: King’s Fight for Economic Equality.”
The keynote speaker for this event is Crystal McElrath 10L 10T, Senior Supervising Attorney, Economic Justice, Southern Poverty Law Center, Atlanta. Panelists include Tolton Pace 00C 02PH,, Sr. Program Officer, Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation; Dr. David McMillon, Assistant Professor in Emory University’s Department of Economics; and Pierce Hand Seitz 10C, Judge, Atlanta Municipal Court. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Ifeoma Ajunwa, Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Law.
