TreeKeeper Training 2026

Trees Atlanta's TreeKeeper program trains volunteers to become leaders in caring for the urban forest. By the end of the program, volunteers can also become a Certified TreeKeeper after completing project leadership requirements. The TreeKeeper program consists of practical tree education over the course of 7 consecutive Saturday sessions; optional 24-hour volunteer service requirement can be completed to earn Certified TreeKeeper status. Students will receive 7 classes, a field guide to trees in the Eastern United States, and a discount at the Annual Trees Atlanta Tree Sale. The program includes indoor and outdoor activities, science-based content and engaging hands-on demonstrations.
