On Saturday, December 1, the ATL Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will welcome international basketball when the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) will host its first 2027 World Cup Qualifier game at Gateway Center Arena.
In partnership with USA Basketball, this historic matchup will showcase world-class athletes competing for a coveted spot on the 2027 FIBA World Cup team. Team USA will take on Nicaragua, marking the first time Nicaragua’s national team will play on U.S. soil, making this a historical event that is not to miss!
